Special anodizing treatment parts

At its core, anodizing is a type of electrochemical treatment that adds surface protection to metal parts, typically improving durability and corrosion resistance. Standard anodizing has its perks, but more specialized treatments offer even greater protection for challenging applications. An excellent example is hard anodizing that produces a robust, thicker surface layer than conventional methods. This makes it particularly suitable for applications subjected to high wear loads, such as pistons, cylinder liners and valve components. In addition, the parts enabled by hard anodizing demonstrate excellent heat resistance and insulation properties which often increase their application possibilities. Among them, a major specialized anodizing process is chromic acid anodizing which can result in a thin and even coating on the surface of metal that improves adhesion for paint as well as other coats. This feature is particularly useful in applications of grounding screws from JIUDING with aesthetic or surface finish requirements, such as architectural pieces and consumer electronics.

The Superior Anodizing Wavelength/ Checking Product Durability and Corrosion Resistance Southerland Black

In comparison, traditional anodizing provides some corrosion resistance with specialized treatments enhancing the durability of metallic parts even further. As an example, sulfuric acid anodizing and square head screws from JIUDING. So, when applied to the surface of a metal this treatment will penetrate much farther than other methods and produce an oxide layer that is thicker and more dense. The parts, therefore churn out enhanced corrosion resistance and wear properties due to which they are well-suited for the most demanding environments such as marine, automotive or aerospace applications. One other treatment of note that will help with corrosion resistance is hard coat anodize. The technique generates a thicker oxide layer than conventional anodizing, which offers superior wear resistance and corrosion protection as a result. Parts that undergo hard coat anodizing are commonly used in defense and aerospace applications, where wear resistance is of critical importance.
